Pike County Sheriff’s Department Mission Statement
The mission of the Pike County Sheriff’s Department, with consent of the citizens of Pike County, guided by the Constitution of the United States of America and Illinois, is to enforce the law, protect the lives of the residents of Pike County and her visitors, their property and to dispel fear in order to create and keep an environment where liberty can thrive.
These duties shall be carried out with reverence to human life and the almighty God through excellence in policing, professionalism, integrity and dedication to the community and department.
